Job description

We are a fast-growing general practice law firm in North Jersey. We are looking for a part-time editorial manager to assist with managing content production and freelancers. This person will be responsible for hiring/onboarding new freelancers, article assignments, editing providing feedback to freelancers, and new content brainstorming/ideation. This is a part-time position that will range from 15 – 30 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet content production goals
• Hire and Onboard freelancer writers
• Edit and fact check content
• Come up with creative and unique content marketing ideas
• Assist with managing video production and editing
• Publishing of content

Job Qualifications:

• Must have at least 5 years experience working in an editorial setting
• Excellent written communication skills
• Comfortable with the use of modern technology (Google docs, Trello and other tools)
• Basic understanding of SEO
• BA in English or journalism

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
