Assault Charge Reduced for Client in the Midst of Immigration Proceedings

This client came to us when he was charged with assault while in the middle of immigration proceedings for his citizenship. Because of this, the case took a significant amount of effort and resources. Given the immigration status, we needed to obtain a reduction that held no or minimal implications. To this end, we had four attorneys working on his case, including his immigration attorney, and even hired an expert witness to ensure our resolution would not preclude him from citizenship.

Ultimately, our team secured a reduction with no impact on his immigration case. It took just about a year to resolve but ultimately resulted in a win as it did not jeopardize the other legal matter.
